The Town of Gambo is presently accepting resumes for the position of  Water and Sewer Maintenance/Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications:
‍· High school or equivalent education;  Education, training and/or work experience in a municipal environment an asset with knowledge in all facets of road work, snow clearing operations, water and sewer maintenance and equipment operations including all related legislation; · Certification in the following areas would be considered an asset; Level I Waste Water      Treatment Operator, Level II Water Distribution System Operator, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Power Line Hazards, Traffic Control, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Standard First Aid;· Ability to ensure safe work practices through following the requirements of Occupational Health & Safety Legislation;· Valid Class 3 License with Class 8 endorsement and 5 years experience in operating heavy equipment;· Drivers Abstract and Code of Conduct required;· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Remuneration for this position is in accordance with the Union Contract. The successful applicant will be required to work weekends on a rotational basis.  In addition, the successful applicant will be required to complete ongoing safety training and educational programs as required.
