SEDCOR's Mission: 
To create an environment which facilitates sustainable economic growth in Gambo.

SEDCOR's Role: 
To steer the town's economic development process by identifying goals, and then developing reasonable and realistic plans, and securing resources to achieve these goals. Sedcor is responsible for the operation of the Smallwood Interpretation and Visitor Centre, Joey's Lookout, the Village Green, Walsh House, Loggers Memorial Park, David Smallwood Park, the Smallwood Trail System, and the Mi'kmaq Cemetery. Through its Heritage Committee, SEDCOR aims to preserve the area's natural and cultural environment.
