Gambo Sports & Recreation Commission

The Gambo Sports & Recreation Commission (GSRC) would like to inform the residents of Gambo of its recent and upcoming activities. If you have any suggestions or are interested in any of the upcoming activities, please contact Jim Pritchett at 674 - 0225. The GSRC is working closely with Council to enhance and add to the Recreation Programs for all age groups in our Town.

Recent Activities: 
      • Hosted the 2010 Provincial Special Olympics
      • Had 106 children registered for the Summer Recreation Program (including evening soccer and softball programs)
      • Completed maintenance at the playground in the Fun 'N' Sun
      • Assumed the position of the Board of Directors for the GCYC
      • Organized a softball team that played in a tournament in Clarenville
      • Hosting a High-Five Program for individuals involved with children between 6 to 12 years old
